It's been awhile....

It has been awhile since we have posted, things have been fairly calm since the grape incident. Both of the boys ended up having to wear cones of shame which was really exciting. Thankfully all the blood work came back okay at their 3 week appointment. I have not bought grapes since that fateful day.... I walk past them every time I go to the store but for some reason I just can't bring myself to buy any....

Over spring break we went to the coast with my family which was a lot of fun. It was a long weekend full of fun - highlights include eating fresh crab, flying kites on the beach, whale watching and dragging the kids out on family adventures in all kinds of weather. After tide pooling at Myers beach in the pouring down rain it will be a miracle if the kids ever want to go to the coast again! After about 30 minutes of tears, complaints and soaking wet clothes we realized that it might not be the most appropriate weather to be out exploring the beach in. If anything the kids built lots of character that day! Just a side note, Owen was sleeping in the car with Brian and Tony while the rest of us were soaked. We had enough sense not to drag him out.....

We had a busy Easter trying to spend time will both of our families. It was a wonderful day but we were exhausted at the end. It was a classic Klamath Falls Easter, complete with snow on the ground.
